How to set a gold price alert

Set a target price once, and we'll push a notification to your phone when the gold (999) price falls to it — no need to check the price every day.

  1. Allow notifications

Tap “Set alert” the first time, and your browser will ask permission to send notifications. Tap “Allow”. This is a one-time step.

  2. Enter your target price

Type the per-gram gold price you want (e.g. RM 550/g), then tap “Set alert”. Your alert is now active — you can change or remove it anytime.

  3. Get a push when it drops

Every business day after the BNM fixing (~11am), we check the price. The moment it falls to your target, you get a single notification right on your phone.

Good to know

  • iPhone / iPad: web notifications only work if you “Add to Home Screen” (install as an app) first. Open the Share menu in Safari → “Add to Home Screen”, then set the alert from that app.
  • The alert fires ONCE when the price hits your target — not every day. It re-arms automatically if the price climbs back above your target.
  • To change the target, enter a new value and tap “Update”. To stop, tap “Remove”.
  • The price used is the official Bank Negara Kijang Emas 999 selling price (per gram), not the 916 goldsmith price.
