Why does this differ from the 916 price at goldsmiths?

Kijang Emas is 999.9 (24K), while jewellery is usually 916 (22K). Goldsmith prices also include workmanship and margin, so they are higher than the bare gold-content value.

What is the gold price per gram today?

The per-gram price is the per-ounce price divided by 31.1035 grams. See the “per gram” figure on the fixing card above for the latest value.

When is the price updated?

Bank Negara Malaysia updates the Kijang Emas price every business day around 10am Malaysian time. There are no weekend or public-holiday updates.

Is this the buying or selling price?
